I think most of us actually relize that GC.com had a issue and some of the bugs are not showing the correct mileage, I am pretty sure that is the main issue with the mileage right now.

As far as the rules, I discussed the Rule issue with Bisch and he knows what is going on.
As in NASCAR, rules get pushed and then adjusted to keep things fair........

Why would one pick and drop count for one part of the race and not for another part of the race?

If we had written pick and drop under each category, I'm sure that folks would have twisted that around so that you would say that one cacher can pick and drop the bug for each task of the race. NOT SO!!!

Understand this... Once a bug is picked up and dropped by one person, everything else is nul and void when picked up by that cacher. I refuse to argue about this any more. WE (the bug judges) will not be bullied.

While I will agree that we both discussed our sides of the rule, nothing was resolved. I still call foul. Changing the rules in the middle of a contest is not right. So, yes, I guess I do know what's going on... what's going on is cheating and not fair.

It's not a changed rule. It was always meant for one pick up and one drop.... period!

It was discussed by all of us before the race. We tried to tell you before, but you want to argue.

Simplified... One pick up and one drop... PERIOD. Any more questions? Can we move on now?

It's not a disqualification to have your bug held hostage, we are just trying to help everyone understand.

Good grief, "cheating" and "not fair" apply when there is preferrential treatment. Everyone is subject to the "one pick up and one drop" rule.

If they let my bug get picked up and dropped by the same person over and over, then removed those situations from your bug's total, that would be cheating and not fair.

Wait, that can't happen anyway cause by bug got STOLEN before it was freakin' picked up. Is that fair? Huh!?

It's late. I think I'll go home and have some cheese and [s]whine[/s] wine.

Have to agree with the miles thing. If that were the case, then which one counts? The first, or the farthest? Point being, the rules are ambiguous enough to not include the miles total being affected by multiple "dips" by the same cacher. Only the number of logs into caches are affected by someone running it about the world.

Nevermind. That was to be inserted at the bottom of page 2. Helps to read the whole thing.

The first pick up and drop count.

Yeah, don't give up hope yet Dave, just because it has not moved in a bit doesn't mean all is lost.....sometimes cachers, like me, get really busy for a few weeks at a time and are not able to cache/move things as we would like too!
